Terms of Service

1. What embroider.app does

embroider.app converts an image you upload into an embroidery patch design, a stitch-path preview, and downloadable machine files (DST and PES) plus a high-resolution preview image. Generating and previewing a design is free. Downloading a file requires a paid download credit.

2. Purchases and download credits

Downloads are sold as one-time credits: 1 download for $4.99 or 10 downloads for $19. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Credits are tied to the anonymous browser token issued to your device — clearing site data or switching browsers can make unused credits unreachable, so download your files promptly.

A credit is consumed only when a file is successfully delivered. If encoding or delivery fails, the credit is not consumed and you can retry.

3. Refunds

Because files are delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are generally final. If a download fails, is corrupt, or you were charged without receiving your file, email support@embroider.app within 14 days and we will re-deliver or refund the affected credits.

4. Your content and your rights

You keep all rights to the images you upload and to the embroidery files generated from them. You may use generated files for personal or commercial embroidery, including selling finished goods. You may not resell the generated digital files themselves as stock designs.

You confirm you have the right to use every image you upload. Do not upload content that infringes copyright or trademarks, or that is unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit.

5. No warranty on sew-outs

Automatic digitizing is not a human digitizer. Stitch counts, density, and fabric behaviour vary by machine, thread, stabilizer, and hooping. We provide a stitch-accurate preview so you can judge a design before you buy, but we cannot guarantee any particular sew-out result. Always test on scrap material first.

6. Acceptable use

Free generation is rate-limited per device to keep the service available for everyone. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape the service, or resell access programmatically.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to embroider.app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
