Privacy Policy

1. No account required

You can use embroider.app without creating an account. To keep your download credits and daily generation limit attached to your device, we store a random anonymous token in your browser. It is not linked to your identity.

2. What we store

Images you upload, the patch design and stitch preview generated from them, and the resulting machine files are stored on our backend so you can download them and so we can debug failed runs and improve output quality.

We also store technical metadata about each run: timestamp, anonymous device token, stitch count, colors, chosen format, and whether the run succeeded.

If you buy a download, Stripe processes the payment and shares your billing email and payment status with us so we can issue a receipt and grant credits. We never receive your card number.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded photos in public marketing without your permission. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

4. Analytics

We collect aggregate traffic and funnel analytics (page views, referrers, conversion steps) to understand how the site is used. This data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

5. Retention and deletion

Uploads and generated files are retained so you can re-download purchased designs. You can request deletion of your uploads, generated files, and purchase record at any time by emailing support@embroider.app — include the approximate date of your run or the email used at checkout.

6. Security

Files are stored in access-controlled storage and served through short-lived signed links. Payment handling is delegated entirely to Stripe.
