Upload the logo at embroider.app/generate and the app traces it into a stitchable design and a real machine stitch path in about 15 seconds, right in the browser. Flat logo artwork keeps its own colors — the app digitizes from your file instead of redrawing it — and you can check stitch count, size and thread colors before paying. Previewing is free; a download gives you DST and PES plus a high-resolution PNG.
Try it — upload an imageEvery extra thread color is another color change on the machine. Logos with two to six flat colors sew fastest and look sharpest as a patch.
Hairline strokes under about 1mm cannot be stitched. The app thickens them into satin columns so they survive the sew-out instead of disappearing.
Brother and Babylock machines read PES. Tajima and most commercial heads read DST. One download gives you both files plus the preview image.
No. Desktop digitizing software like Wilcom or Hatch is powerful but expensive and slow to learn. embroider.app runs in the browser and produces DST and PES files without any install or licence.
A PNG with clean flat colors gives the best result. JPG works too. Avoid screenshots with drop shadows, gradients, or checkerboard transparency backgrounds — they add colors the logo does not really have.
For flat logo artwork the app locks the palette to the colors already in your upload, so nothing new is invented. Photographic uploads are reduced to a limited thread palette instead.
Letters need roughly 4mm cap height to sew cleanly. If your logo's text is smaller than that, the app enlarges the patch (up to 127mm wide) so the lettering stays readable.
